Transmitter Line Locator

The 950RT Locating System is a newly designed utility pipe, cable, and line locating system.  Featuring a 50-hour battery life, 18 frequencies, circuit breakers, and left-right arrows, the 950RT is versatile, easy-to-use, reliable and durable.  It includes the 950T transmitter and the 950R receiver.

The Subsite 950R receiver is designed to locate buried pipes, lines, and cables.  Several frequencies and modes of operation are available to suit specific locating needs.  Available passive modes include: 50Hz, and 60 Hz power, radio, and 31 kHz CATV.  Available active modes include 512 Hz, 1 kHz, 8 kHz, 29 kHz and 80 kHz for use with Ditch Witch Subsite transmitters.  400 Hz, 560 Hz, and 815 Hz modes are also available with the 950R, but cannot be transmitted by the 950T.  512 Hz, 29 kHz, and 33 kHz frequencies are available for use with Ditch Witch Subsite beacons to locate plastic pipes.

The Ditch With Subsite 950T transmitter is designed to place signals on target lines.  It can be configured to send 512 Hz, 1 kHz, 29 kHz, 80 kHz, and dual (8 kHz and 29 kHz) frequencies.  It places a signal on the line through either direct connection, induction clamping, or broadcast modes.
