SIR
3000 with 400 MHz antenna mounted on survey cart. This system permits
very accurate data collection for later processing with 3-D modeling
software.

The SIR 3000 is pictured here with the 1500 MHz antenna
utilizing the StructureScan system to image PT Cables, Rebar
or Conduit in
concrete. Please scroll down for more information.
StructureScan is the latest tool for the nondestructive inspection and
evaluation of concrete structures. This system, developed by Geophysical
Survey Systems, Inc. (GSSI), has revolutionized the concrete NDT
industry.
StructureScan uses GSSI's patented Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
technology to quickly and safely locate embedments within concrete
structures prior to drilling, cutting or coring.
StructureScan Advantages:
- Inspect floors,
walls, decks, slabs, tunnels, balconies and garages.
- Accurately locate
rebar, tension cables, conduits (PVC and metal), voids and measure
slab thickness.
- Locate targets to a
depth of 18 inches.
- Faster, safer and
lower cost than radiography (X-ray).
- Only single-sided
access needed.
- Fully FCC
compliant.
- Built with pride in
the USA.
